We often get asked why we are called CleverOrca,
and it's all about brain power!

We chose the name CleverOrca to represent one of the world's strongest brains: the orca. Orcas, also known as killer whales, are considered one of the smartest animals in the world due to their impressive cognitive abilities and adaptability. Because they have such incredible brain power and willingness to learn, we named our company CleverOrca! Here are some reasons why orcas are considered one of the most intelligent creatures:

ORCAS HAVE BIG BRAINS!  

Orcas have one of the world's largest brains, which is highly developed. Their brains have a large neocortex (responsible for higher problem-solving and reasoning skills) and a well-developed limbic system (which is associated with memory formation). Orcas also have a high neuron density in their brains, which are responsible for transmitting and processing information in the brain.


Brain power is what we help promote here at CleverOrca. We want to help students advance their cognitive, problem-solving, and reasoning skills. We also want to help students with memory formation and retention. All these qualities are prominent with orcas and can be prominent in you too! 

ORCAS LEARN IN A VARIETY OF WAYS! 

The orca's learning ability is one of their most remarkable traits. Their capacity for social learning, problem-solving, and adaptability allows them to thrive in various environments and makes them one of the most intelligent and versatile marine mammals. Orcas always welcome new techniques and learning methods to help evolve their brains, which is exactly what we promote at CleverOrca. 

ORCAS HAVE GREAT PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS!

Orcas have a long lifespan, with some individuals living up to 90 years in the wild. This extended lifespan allows them to accumulate knowledge and experience over time, making them highly skilled hunters and problem solvers. This helps show our learners that knowledge and understanding take time. The more you try and study, the more you will learn! 

The combination of the orca's large and complex brains, social complexity, learning ability, and longevity make them one of the smartest animals in the world, and some of the many reasons we love them!

Yes! I love CleverOrcaVT! There was so much information and it was broken up into different classes. The study guides are very informative and there's little quizzes at the end of each section, and quizzes at the end of each subject. And a mock exam is included. I thought it was extremely helpful for boards, and I just passed the VTNE last week. I highly recommend!
